Review Philosophy:
I specialize in trashing and bashing games. Well, not really. If I deem its good, I'll say its good. If its bad, I crucify it. If the game is buggy beyond reason, thus deemed an "unfinished product released to the market", you developers better find yourself a new line of work.
Seriously.
Please understand this. Anyone can say a game is good. Just go to all those "professional review sites" and hear all that hyping bullshit they get payed to do by game publishers. If you're planning to buy a game, then you'd better hell know what kind of product you're getting before you purchase it.
If it turns out the product is bad, then at least you'll expect it from the review. If the product is good, hey, you liked the game, who freakin' cares about the review? But as long as publishers/developers over-hype marketing strategies to the point of moronic proportions, you'll have bad-ass paranoid psychotic reviewers like me at the front-lines. Come on, we know its an industry...but who the hell likes being ripped off?
Either way, the consumer wins when you read a review that trashes a game (as long as it has valid argumentation...not just mere name-calling). Can't fight logic.

Hi, my name is Inderanta Depari, but people call me Indra. I am a proud citizen of the Republic of Indonesia, currently residing in its capital, Jakarta, island of Java.
I've been a longtime contributor of Mobygames and for some unknown reason have been quite addicted to it at an irrational level... though many of my contributions need to be severely updated as many a trial and error proses of contributions from the newbie to a more experienced contributor.
I've played the computer before I learned to ride the bicycle with my PC XT 4.7 Mhz. Heaven doesn't get quite closer that all those hours living a fantasy world...until the day you find yourself as an adult...haha.
But for those who still remember the good ol' days, there was a time games to the child were the substitute of the parent and society in teaching us values and virtues in a world that doesn't know the difference between Black, White and Purple.
These games taught each of us to become our own Paladin, as all of us that have been touched by its call shall forever be in debt of its teachings. For some of us...its more than just a game...Its Life.

Professionally, I am a lawyer but my background is more academic as I was once a lecturer at my university. On the academic field I am an expert on Indonesian Cyberlaw, which lead the legislation team...after I left, there hasn't been much legislation :)
I also found myself adapt in Philosophy of Law, Legal Frameworks and Paradigms...all that legal mumbo-jumbo which oddly makes sense to me...only many many years later after I graduated though.

Current useless passion is the quest of knowledge and the unforgiving truth. I have acquired inhuman levels of philosophy (without the help of reading books)...and yes it may sound arrogant, but if you deem yourself as a philosopher, you will understand where this "Sophia" comes from: a hard slap in the face. Unfortunately I never recovered from the slap, so basically my inhuman levels of wisdom are quite useless to me, but beneficial to others it seems. Personally, I wish I was a still a religious ignorant idiot.
At least those were happier times.
As an "experienced" philosopher, I teach. I do not debate, though ego does tend to demand it time from time. Debating and arguing are for philosophical newbies and idiots. Excuse the harshness, but if thou art looking for the truth, you should realize that anything and everything you believe in is a subjective illusion. A "true" philosopher seeks understanding. If you seek to argue your version of "truth" you are not a philosopher, you are a "debater". If you want subjective truth...or what I call "a nice lie', read a book and quote all the past philosophers that did the thinking for you instead of thinking of it yourself.
Honestly, You and I and everyone else were not looking for the Truth in the first place. We were looking for something to make us feel better to ourselves and in front of others. The Truth is out there and it does not set you free.

I also am in search for supernatural answers in life. Not theory or useless debate, but plain hard proof (my logic demands it). Some I have been able to prove (surprise!), though this subject may be somewhat alarming if not regarded as nonsense to others. If you need proof, let me know. If you have theories or simply want to know whether its bullshit or not, I can provide answers from a magi or scientific point of view.
PS. Note that use of definitions between you and I are different. Miscommunication is a common trait between philosophers...at least for newbie ones.
Each person has different priorities in life. Due to our short life-span and worldly obligations, sometimes its difficult to find what we really want. The only means I found effective is when we open ourselves to other people, regardless of consequence of ridicule, blame or other social sanctions.
