Description

Elemental Master's gameplay is similar to a top-down space shooter (i.e Raptor & Raiden), but what makes it unique is the fact you play as a human instead of space-ship.

There are different kinds of weapons which you can use. Like other games in the genre you also have tons of strange enemies to destroy.

Looked over gem. One of the greatest shooters.

The Good
This game came out in the days of Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter 2 and it was almost completely overlooked. It is an excellent shooter, one of the best top down shooters ever on a home console. The power ups and gameplay are fun. Its challenging, but not frustrating. Graphics are beautiful and stretch the system to its limits. Easily as good as what you would expect on the SNES.

Shame not too many people noticed this one. Its basically as good as Thunderforce III or IV, except that its a top-down shooter instead of side-scrolling.

The Bad
I didn't like that this game had no sequel and is difficult to find.

The Bottom Line
Great. If you liked this one you will also like the Thunder Force series and Truxton.
