Indiana Java and the Network of Doom
Description
Indiana Java and the Network of Doom is a short adventure game that serves as a tech-demo for the public domain development system of the same name. Implied as a brief follow-up to Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis the game follows archaeologist Henry Java as he travels to Bolivia out of interest in a local, pre-Colombian find.
Gameplay identically mirrors that of traditional LucasArts adventure games of the period, even including the same interface and inventory system as these prior titles. Unlike these, however, the game primarily makes use of digitized photographs for its backgrounds and locations, characters of interest being made up of pixels.
