Description official descriptions

This is the second installment of the Budokai series. Goku and the Z Warriors travel through the Dragonball Z universe from the Saiyan to the Kid Buu Saga. It has all new cel-shaded characters with absorptions and fusions. Instead of story mode, they have Dragon World, where you can create your own Dragonball Z adventure!

Not as good as Budokai 1 but still okay.

The Good
It progressed through the story more further. You could do moves during a fight that was like a little movie sequence (Fusion). The graphics were a lot better.

The Bad
The way you got into fights were weird. This game was basically Mario Party and your mini-game was a fight. I didn't like how they took out the episode thing from Budokai 1. And for some strange reason, Cell and Frieza kept coming back. There were some unusual things like Majin Buu absorbing Cell. That really didn't need to be there. The storyline didn't entirely follow the series as Goku could fight Nappa right away when they arrive on Earth and that Goku and Vegeta weren't the only one's to fight Kid Buu becasue you could choose to play with Trunks, Gohan, or Goten which didn't fit the storyline at all because those 3 died in the series!

The Bottom Line
It's an okay game. Average, not as good as Budokai 1 but still good. Let's hope Budokai 3 will be better!
