Dana Cowley is the public relations manager of Epic Games.
Previously, Dana directed ClearImage's interactive entertainment activities by driving marketing, public relations and business development strategies for the firm’s North American clients, including Emergent Game Technologies and 3Dsolve.
Before joining ClearImage, Cowley served as marketing and communications manager for Chapel Hill-based Octagon Entertainment's, a global developer and publisher of computer and video games, where she managed corporate communications, sales support marketing, and North American retail publishing.
Cowley is the co-founder of the Triangle Chapter of the International Game Developers Association (IGDA), a nonprofit professional society with over 70 chapters worldwide. She served two terms as the vice president of membership for the Triangle Chapter of the American Marketing Association (AMA), one of the largest professional organizations for marketers.
Cowley earned her degree from the School of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She also graduated from the Carolina Business Institute at UNC’s Kenan-Flagler School of Business.
