Biography edit · view history

Don James is a production executive for Nintendo of America Inc.

He started off at the company in 1981 as a warehouse manager, right around the time that Nintendo came out with the breakthrough game, Donkey Kong . Donkey Kong's damsel in distress was named Pauline, after Don's wife, Polly James.

Later on in his career at Nintendo, he became a production manager for manufacturing the cartridges for all the games for the consoles, as Nintendo was the exclusive cartridge manufacturer in North America.

He is still at Nintendo today, as a production executive, and of course he has been with Nintendo for 25 years now.
