Justin Lee McKinnerney

Justin Lee "Shades" McKinnerney, age 32, of Georgetown, Texas, died Sunday, May 21, 2006 in Austin TX. He was born to Lee McKinnerney and Karen (Sablatura) McKinnerney on January 31, 1974 in Dallas, Texas.

Justin was a computer programmer who began his career at the age of 17 when he began working with Origin Systems in Austin, Texas. Most recently he was working with the Texas Department of Health and Human Services, and Apollo Hosting.

"Shades" loved industrial music and frequently visited Goth clubs such as Elysium in Austin and The Church in Dallas. He was generous to all who knew him and would share his time helping anyone who asked. He will be missed dearly by all who had the opportunity to know him in his short lifespan. There is no doubt that Justin touched many hearts, from Texas to Las Vegas, Los Angeles, New York City, New Jersey, Boston and in Austin, Dallas and the surrounding areas.

In addition to his parents Justin is survived by a Sister-Latricia "Trish" McKinnerney of Austin, Texas, a Brother-Kevin McKinnerney of Millington, Tenn., Maternal Grandmother-Lillian Sablatura of Agua Dulce, Texas, Numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and a host of friends. Arrangements are being handled by The Gabriels Funeral Chapel, 393 North IH 35, Georgetown, Texas, where the family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 24, 2006. Funeral service will be at The Gabriels Funeral Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 25, 2006, Rev. Henry Bernshausen officiating. Interment will be at Our Lady of the Rosary Cemetery in Georgetown, Texas.
