Biography edit · view history

Chuck Eyler's talents lie in graphics - animations, 3D, and special effects. He has worked on animated films and in games for over 30 years and has won awards for his work, including an Oscar for the effects in the film Young Sherlock Holmes. Chuck did film graphics work for some very well-known companies including LucasArts, Rainbow Records and Nickelodean. He also owned a small animation company in 1983.

It appears that Chuck started in the gaming industry in 1989 when he worked for Time Warner Interactive/Atari on their arcade game titles.

He was the Art Director for Vicious Circle's Arcade titles, (1994-95) and then Lead Artist in 1996 for Crystal Dynamics on the Playstation release of Gex 2.

Then in 1997, Chuck joined Electronic Arts, beginning as Lead Artist on Jane's Combat Simulations: WWII Fighters. In 1999 he was promoted to Art Director, the position he held until December 2008.

Since leaving Electronic Arts, Chuck has done contract work on a PC title for PlayFirst, Inc. and other freelance projects.
